Phil Webster is a Senior Software Engineer at WP Engine, where he maintains high-scale plugins like WP Migrate and Better Search Replace for over a million active users. In addition to contributing to WordPress core, he’s a huge advocate for digital accessibility and is currently building out a unified design system for use across WP Engine’s plugin lineup. Always looking for ways to iterate and improve, Phil is deeply interested in using AI workflows to break down silos and boost cross-functional team collaboration. Before pivoting to tech, he started his career as a professional percussionist. These days, when he isn't coding, you can usually find him exploring the Pittsburgh area on his gravel bike.
